The park is popular on the weekends and thus becomes full of tents and children. There are very few sewered sites and the office staff isn't aware of where they are located. We found 5 that they were not aware of and were very gracious when we told them. The staff tries very hard to please the guests. The term resort is used rather loosely here. Our family would stay here on a short stay but not an extended stay.

Small park with gracious hosts who escort you to your site. Shaded sites are gravel and level; the park is getting ready to expand to more sites. Host came and wished up a good trip as we were leaving. Great for a short stay.

Owners are wonderful; they escort you to your site and check back later to insure all is well. They provided maps of the area, including good fishing places. Great place to stay.

Wonderful spot to stay beside the Mississippi River and watch the barge traffic. Sites have 75' x 12' level concrete pads complete with gravel area beside for table, fire ring and tent use. Facilities were clean and the hosts were very informative.

We were disappointed in the young staff who greeted us but didn't know if we could get a different spot other than the middle of a sunny field, far from everything. We had to get a list of what was available and then drive around to find a site we could get into. The Resort is oriented to being a Condo resort, not a RV resort. The sites are not level or maintained very good. The fishing was great in all the areas.

Obviously a lot of work has been done here since the last review was posted; the sites have been widened, new electric service at each site, and a great attitude from the staff. As busy as they were on our check-in, we were able to change our site to fit our motorhome easier with no trouble at all. The sites are neat, clean, and well maintained. This Resort is a 5 star in my book.

This park has a lot of shady sites, fishing available in the park or on the coast nearby, and numerous activities throughout the week. The sites are well maintained and the staff was great.It is close to Rockport where every type of food and service is available.
